My current sketchbook is tiny, barely larger than a phone. But it has the advantage that it's small enough that I actually take it with me.

Mostly pencil sketches. One was a test if the paper is thick enough for alcohol markers. Result was mixed, the paint does not spread too much, but it ruined 2 layers of pages below it, which were luckily not something that I would miss.
