For even when we came into Macedonia, our body had no rest at all, but we were troubled in every way – struggles from the outside, fears from within (2 Corinthians 7:5).

When #Paul had last narrated his experience, he was leaving Troy for Macedonia because #Titus had not yet arrived.

It is as if Paul was bringing the Corinthian #Christians along with him, defending his ministry in their conversation on the way.

Even when he arrived in Macedonia, however, he experienced much difficulty.

Paul did not shy away from the many forms of difficulty and distress he had experienced recently when writing to the Corinthian Christians.

We should expect times of #difficulty and #distress as well.

What can we gain from Paul's descriptions of his distress?
