Well well well, if it isn't exactly what I said would happen. Google et al hate you and your website other than what they can monetize out of it.

Google Just Patented The End Of Your Website

A newly granted Google patent could let the search giant replace your brand's landing page with an AI-generated version you have no control over and only your buyers see.

Forbes
@mttaggart In their defense, I have seen my website. I hate it too.
@mttaggart Well of course they patented it. Intellectual property for me, but not for thee. Every Silicon Valley business model is built on the foundation of asymmetric information. Now that the mask is off the California Ideology, the new normal is this, but enforced with asymmetric power relationships, of course enforced by the state.
@mttaggart Google patents the swagless, vanillaweb 😞
@mttaggart isn't it basically what they tried to do with amp, just more expensive?
@nCrazed AMP had monetization and conversion pipelines for creators. This does not.
@mttaggart so an upgrade from Google's pov then 🥲
@mttaggart How does this work if you don't use the google browser or search engine?

@mttaggart

My only complaint is that it's Forbes and I'm pretty sure I know them mostly for having a bunch of con men on their magazines front covers.
