The private sector has started constructing a new agricultural market in Farah, with an investment of 150 million AFN. The market, which will be built on 35 acres of land, will feature 230 shops dedicated to the collection and distribution of agricultural products.

Local officials state that the new market will assist alleviate challenges related to product collection, transportation, and overcrowding. It is expected to provide greater convenience for both traders and farmers, boosting the local agricultural economy.
