Peter Sellers learned this 1927 song from his dad and it clearly stuck with him: in addition to performing it on his 1959 comedy album "Songs For Swingin' Sellers" and in the largely forgotten 1973 film "The Optimists of Nine Elms," he rolled it out during an interview on Parkinson.

A more complete version, with a great ukulele solo, was released by Art Fowler:

The songsheet is based closely on the original sheet music (play the same chord shapes shown on a ukulele tuned ADF#B if you want to play in the original key of G), but you can find the lyrics to Fowler's performance here: https://www.lyricsplayground.com/alpha/songs/i/ihaventtoldhershehasnttoldme.html

Feels good to get back to writing up some music, although actual ukulele playing is still limited. Long Covid exhaustion has really thrown a spanner in the works when it comes to hobbies; or to anything else, for that matter.

Of course, after that burst of limited activity I'm now good for nothing at all, but spending half my time napping is not what I want to do.
