Anyone have any thoughts on why I can't access mstdn.social on my other phone?

Moshidon and the official Mastodon app don't recognise the server and when I use a browser I get the screen below, which won't let my bypass it (despite the option to).

NB. This is an old phone, I get the same on my old tablet. My slightly newer phone runs Tusky, which works fine but the older devices don't. I wonder if its the age of the devices.

Yes, it's the age of the device. Or rather the version of the operating system. If it's old enough that it's not receiving the system updates anymore then it's not receiving the root certificate renewals as well. So the existing certificates would eventually expire and the device slowly falls off of the surface of the web. Sad.
