I got a lovely gift today.
From a Mastodon friend who received one of my towels. A custom knitted resistance hat!
I can hardly wait to wear it to Saturday's protest.
I love this community. It really is as fabulous as I think it is.
I wish my photo was better but I don't have good light in the house in the evening.
It is beautifully perfect.

Do you know the story about the hat? The Norwegian red hat was inspired by resistance to WWII Nazi occupation, and gained traction in Minnesota. The pattern had become known as "Melt ICE Hat."

Here's a picture of my resistance hat that my daughter crocheted for me, just like yours. I'll be wearing it to the No Kings Protest also. Have a wonderful time on Saturday! I'll wave at you from New Jersey!❤️
