Spent some time this afternoon transplanting some of the Snap Dragon seedlings. These old hands are not very good with this fiddly stuff anymore. Also, if the Wintersmith doesn't hurry up and leave we're going to have a serious shortage of bench space in the greenhouse. Tiffany Aching where are you?

@richrollgardener Mine are a little smaller and I'm hardening them off to plant out at the end of the week. Yours look lovely! You are going to have a lot of happy bees. I'm planning one row .8 meters long. How much space are you devoting?

@reformSchool @[email protected] These will go into about 8 window-box sized planters to fill an area near a driveway. Lots more will just fill in gaps everywhere else around the flowerbeds.

@[email protected] fabulous! I think that means you are planting more densely than I expected to. And the spacing suggestion on the seed packet seemed overly generous to me. Maybe it's time to ignore the docs 😁

@reformSchool Here's what the plantings looked like last September. There are 8 plants in each planter. If you pinch the tops out as they grow, you get a bushier plant.
