@0xabad1dea having to force myself to stare at this drivel instead of doing Anything Else has been genuinely impacting my mental health the last few weeks. I can afford taking the test as many times as I want in terms of cash but in terms of physical health it means it's basically exclusive with paid work for about a week after an attempt

Most of the questions that you’ve posted were things I learned at an English public school (many are things I’ve subsequently forgotten), including the ones that are either factually incorrect or misleading. Public school boys are severely over represented in both the civil service and politics. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this is genuinely what they think everyone in Britain knows.
They should have outsourced it to one of the companies that designs pub quizzes if they wanted something actually representative.
