Mastodon question, I'm trying to completely filter/hide posts with specific hashtags and I can't get it to work.

I set them up as filter for "#blah" and I'm enabling to filter the Home timeline but they just stay in my Home timeline—I've tried with and without "whole word" on.

Is there some known issue in v4.5.7 or am I missing something?

@thomasfuchs Try adding 2 filers.
One #lowercase and one #CamelCase
If that solves your problem, remove the one you were originally typing and see if it still works. If yes, let me know if #lowercase or #CamelCase is what made it work.

@thomasfuchs I believe it works with future posts and not previous posts. It also depends on what client you are using. I'm testing one client that ignores my filter completely.

@thomasfuchs Try leaving the # off it in your filters.

The mastodon docs show it with # fwiw
