Recently switched to #obsidian - and quite like it. What’s your tip for getting started? Is it wise to pay for the sync feature?

Mac@ennor Tip for getting started: Try different things, and watch some videos of how people use Obsidian, for inspiration. Don't try to force a specific way of using it if it doesn't fit you.
I and many others use #Syncthing for syncing Obsidian vaults between devices. It syncs directly between devices, no cloud involved. Free and open source.

Stefan@ennor I started building a vault a few months ago. My tip: start with two vaults. One to store serious knowledge (as simply as possible) and one to get to know Obsidian with all its features and plugins.
ich habe vor ein paar Monaten angefangen mit ein Vault aufzubauen. Mein Tipp: beginne mit zwei Vaults. einen um ernsthaft wissen zu speichern (möglichst simpel) und einen Vault um Obsidian mit diesen ganzen Möglichkeiten und Plugins kennenzulernen.
