@ERROR_WTF @rbreich Love the songs! 😁 😍
@rbreich
There is no way he can turn this energy crisis around. Iran has the worlds energy market as hostage. They may very well destroy all oil and gas infrastructure within the region, no matter what Trump does. Expect US price caps on gas and/or nationalization of the US oil and gas sector. And of course, Trump will likely blame all bad stuff on the Jews: "They tricked him into this". This would've happened sooner or later anyway. American Jews, be prepared.

@sigismundninja @rbreich American anythings, but arguably American Jews even moreso, have the responsibility to speak out against the atrocious Israeli regime and their campaign of terror against their neighbours. I'm not hearing a lot of noise from Jewish organisations aimed at denouncing Israeli aggression.

Perhaps I'm not listening in the right places.

Or do American Jews support Zionism as strongly as their Israeli counterparts? And do they think they are immune from accountability?

@rbreich 4 usd per gallon for gasoline 🀣🀣🀣πŸ₯²πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜
(cries in "i just refueled yesterday for 2.5 eur per litre near Zandvoort")
@gergolippai @rbreich πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚ In Luxembourg Diesel is the most expensive and somewhat over 1.83€
@connynasch @rbreich it's funny, in NL diesel is historically much cheaper than petrol, but now it has gone *over* petrol actually. black is white, up is down, and diesel is more expensive than petrol in NL! (i refueled petrol btw...)
@gergolippai 🀨 samestory here in Luxembourg, we have "Tank tourismus" due to that all the trucks that come close take a quick hop over here. The price is regulated strictly according to the current barrel price... @rbreich

@rbreich

TACO (Trump Always Chicken Out).
I give it about 2-3 weeks when it really starts to "fuck US economy", then he will be like: "They can't produce A-bomb and that's what this war was always about."

Then they leave another country on the brink of anarchy and leave poor people for themself.

It really depends on Izreal what they want from Iran and also how big leverages does "Bibi" have over Trump.

@rbreich A lot of people have been focusing on the illegitimacy of this war and, of course, it is hugely important that that should be addressed.

But we also need to make sure that the message is hammered home that if this war ends with the Iranian regime still in existence and no independently verified proof that any Nuclear weapons development that Iran may or may not be engaged in has stopped then Trump and Netanyahu have officially lost this war. No ifs, buts or maybes.

@rbreich Is the world really going to have to burn because the USA can't impeach a president?

@Lynnkelly @rbreich

Impeachment is clearly justified.

And also invoking the 25th!

...

Honestly, I thought that invoking the 25th was "the right's" plan -- to execute within a month after the election. But clearly Trump is not the only one to chicken out.

@JeffGrigg @rbreich But, like you said, they chickened out
@rbreich
I hope you're right. His one other option - just contiuing as-is is not one for him, as you explain - is to escalate massively, as threatened, and that might mean a tactical nuke. Truman facd slogging on or nuke. Trump might claim that's precedent. Of course it's not, but he could grasp that srraw anyway.

@dbc3 @rbreich

I actually think that's most likely, considering the religious fanatics surrounding him.
