Every startup pitch is “what if [thing that exists] but [worse in ways we’ll discover later]” + “first principles thinking” which is why we keep re-inventing pressed juice, buses and the concept of having neighbours
@Daojoan you seem to have been on a really good run with this thought that the alleged 'big ideas' these people have are just them bumping into the big philosophical questions for the first time, in ignorance of all the work and testing that's gone on before them, drawing a square around a circle and calling it solved (to applause + money).
I mean that genuinely. This is like splitting the atom, or at the very least collapsing the illusion of the last 30 years of culture. Please keep going.
