I passed my Technician exam on Wednesday, got my callsign (KM7EXA) and first handheld radio on Friday, and made my first contacts today, with someone from out of town working local Summits on the Air on VHF. Still lots to learn, I am mainly interested in tinkering with data modes and getting to know more about what others are doing.
