@huuishuu It's still difficult to recommend Linux since a lot of simple things can be over-complicated if you just look up "how to do x" and follow the steps. I installed Steam with CLI day 1 of Linux because I didn't know about the GUI app/software centers. I remember it taking way too long and being quite laborious compared to the Windows experience.

@SimpleEasyLinux Which is also the same reason why I still can't recommend it to most people.

Linux really isn't that hard, it's just time-consuming to get things going. Most people just want things to be simple. There are certain things on Linux that *are* simple, yes, but for a majority of people it's still a hassle.

@huuishuu Sadly true. I assume more than a few converts - myself included - were driven by our disgust for modern-day Windows.

Thankfully Linux does some things easier and/or better, but it's hard to see those if you can't get your webcam working, audio output through your speakers, etc.
