I passed this earlier today and thought it would make an interesting photo as petrol is now almost €2.00 per litre.

The blue sign must date from the days when petrol was well below €1.00 per litre and probably actually from when it was well below £1.00 per litre.

@helvick The earliest I became aware of Petrol prices was just before the 1970s oil crisis. A Gallon (Litres not used then) cost 36p. After the oil crisis it went up to 79p a gallon.
