@daj @scribblanitea I like the em dash so much that before it was standardized across platforms on the web, we used to use a graphic em dash that was carefully put into place into the copy. In fact, the file’s still there:

Even in the 1990s we refused to space out a hyphen, and we did not care that that was the online norm.
