[P] There's something dark that lies in the neurotypical psyche that I really don't like. I'm disturbed by how... frankly omnipresent it is. It has much to do with essentialist xenophobia and goes something like this: If an exotically non-human—unrecognisable in any way as human—mother and child are depicted, both must suffer, they must be seoarated and tortured. This is enjoyed Universally by all neurotypicals.

[P] I just... I really don't like this new, surfacing trend. I'm so sick of bio-essentialism. I mean, we could depict "monsters' as equals and perhaps lay the foundations for a better future. Hahaha. Nahhh. That isn't thrilling. There isn't enough dopamine in that. No, let's make ourselves afraid for the dopamine hit, and subconsciously normalise doing grotesque things to anyone who isn't Us. That sounds like an idea!
