Weirdly, I'd say this is going to encourage newly married women to keep their maiden names.

@lisagetspolitik this also threatens the rights of transgender people when it comes to voting.. As a transgender woman who has had her name and gender marker changed legally... I am afraid I won't be able to vote in November
