@LibertyOverGov I mean, IMO it's legitimately the only issue that really matters. Every other issue gets 10× easier to solve once Citizen's Umited is gone. There are other issues much more *pressing* at the moment, but that doesn't make this one less important.

It's a step in the right direction.

We need to get ALL private money out of campaign finance, or else nothing else we do matters.

Until we do, we are under the rule of the wealthy.

I think it won't happen until the SCOTUS is fixed (expand it to balance the membership) and the filibuster eliminated.

@LibertyOverGov It's a fine example of the name of a piece of legislation that is completely opposite to its intent.

Of course the Pritzger family has generational wealth and may not depend on external wealth. But with that independent wealth comes the ability to say things that matter.

I'm not sure why but I believe Pritzger when he speaks truth to power - Newsome, not so much.
