Or as the saying goes, a boat is a hole in the water surrounded by wood or fiberglass into which you pour money.
I miss mine.
BTW, small airplanes are even more expensive — everything from light bulbs on up has to be FAA certified — but they are fun!
Friends' boats and airplanes do help lessen the cost. 😉
@RunRichRun @ai6yr I’ve been fortunate in having friends who owned boats, friends who owned planes, and friends who own old British sports cars. It has saved me untold tens of thousands over the years. 😂
