This Bombay biryani video is amazing (and I have eaten it)

So is this Delhi paratha video

Oh man I kind of want to go back to India and do my food crawl and do it on camera this time (I’ve spent a long time eating across India). I can probably do like 100 videos on different styles of biryani and never be done

If I didn’t have to work anymore I would probably do a ‘look at me eating across India / China / SE Asia’ series with absolutely no regard for $ haha
I mean I could probably build a meaningful business on this, but I’m not ready to be a full time food person
@skinnylatte I realise you have other things going on right now but I would watch the shit out of this so please keep it in mind for later

@skinnylatte I am somehow absorbing calories over the internet now.
@skinnylatte I randomly watched this video on YouTube a few days ago when I was incidentally in Delhi. The video is apparently better than the food. Someone who once worked on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg told me that the parathas are medicore. This guy is famous because he has been there for generations. But then this person is from Punjab and vows that the best food is in Amritsar.
@rohini oh yeah I’m sure it wouldn’t impress a person from Amritsar. Just as a dosa from Matunga might not impress someone from Madras I guess

@skinnylatte Thanks for the share! That was beautiful, I am close to choked up, and also very hungry ...

I love biryani and that's only having had it from the chefs who make it to Canada and have to figure out how to make it here for Canadian clients. Now I want to go visit this restaurant like it's a pilgrimage, seeing that kind of artistry!

@skinnylatte Using dough to seal the pot like that has blown my mind. Brilliant.

@skinnylatte

Oh this is amazing, thank you for sharing!

And what a recipe! It would be so much work to duplicate that at home. So many different flavors

Anybody know about that tree lichen used for seasoning? I haven't heard of that

@skinnylatte this is all I'm watching tonight. Watched 3 so far including the 2nd one you posted
@dealingwith this guy’s cooking videos are pretty good too. On a diff channel. I like these travel videos of his
@skinnylatte the video is wonderful, the presenter is great
