Debating my options to escape #systemd . (Currently on Arch Linux.)

@[email protected] it depends on what you need. debian uses systemd, so i wouldn't use that. if you don't play proprietary video games, FreeBSD is probably fine. gentoo requires a lot of patience. if you want arch without systemd, artix may work better than standard arch with openrc. i tried to migrate from arch to artix a few days ago but ended up breaking something, instead of troubleshooting it through chroot i decided to install chimera linux (which uses dinit, but also seems to have some systemd components). the most well supported distro without systemd is probably alpine
