#libertarianism (which has come to mean only right wing libertarianism) is a crypto fascist ideology. This is because the elected leadership of the state loses its power to corporate entities, which are not elected.
The military and the police become the only remaining entities of the state, which are then used to maintain the fascist state and infect its neighbours. Why? Because fascists, like corporatists never have enough.
Ah, yes, how evil we libertarians are. From supporting gay marriage even when then-president Obama opposed it, to opposing new wars, to supporting marijuana legalization and harm reduction approaches...we've just full of terrible ideas.
@AlexanderKingsbury I never said libertarians were evil, just what their systems create. Just like communists aren't evil, but their systems create gulags and starvation.
And this isn't a new idea, it has been a theme of sci fi for decades. Alien and Blade Runner for example.
When it happens, libertarians say "oh it's not real libertarianism" just like communists say "it's not real communism" when people are hacked to pieces with machetes because they owned a farm.
Oh, this wasn't for your benefit. You demonstrated clearly yesterday that you feel justified openly lying about things I have said. Liars rarely restrict their lies to one domain. Therefore, I do not think conversation with you is worthwhile. I'm pointing out for people who may care about the truth that you're full of nonsense. Libertarians have and continue to support many policies that are in no way "right wing".

Libertarians don't support those things because they actually care about gay people, sex workers, drug addicts etc. They just support it because they don't care about anyone other than themselves, as libertarianism is based on an egoistic moral system. In summary: "mine, mine mine!"
Not beating or imprisoning vulnerable groups is not morally praiseworthy. Vulnerable people need help from society.
More lies. If anyone honest is interested in learning what libertarians actually support and why, this person is clearly a terrible source. They openly lie about even the simplest things, like what someone has said in a conversation, and they are lying about this.

For other readers, when the rampant crippling of elected governments renders the government incapable of serving the needs of society, the billionaire despot is planted with a convenient scapegoat.
All the libertarians fall silent because the destruction of the administrative state leaves them to do whatever they want, and if that means a few minorities are beaten or imprisoned it's a worthy sacrifice to keep the mobs at bay.
