Celebrities eventually sell out their values

I can’t believe Arthur, my favorite celebrity, gave in to corruption and became a sellout. Now I’m questioning everything. Is the library even fun?
He should have stuck with being an English alcoholic socialite in New York City.
Arthur… Bach? Is that the reference?
Yup.
I had to dig really hard to find this one. Why is he so well known to you?
I mean it’s a movie with the exact same title as the show everyone is talking about? Doesn’t seem like that much of a deep cut
whats the movie?
…Arthur, from 1981. Like I said, it has the same title as the show? Am I being trolled?

Oh!! Sorry - I thought the OP was referring to a real person called Arthur Bach.

I actually finally googled it and realized it’s just a film, from 1981 as you say. OP is not a connoisseur of the NY Social Elite… he just watched films as a kid

Sorry for the mixup!

Do you think someone would actually do that? Just go on the Internet and tell lies?
Marc Brown in conjunction with PBS inspired 4 generations of children to learn tolerance, respect, and community. The good this man has done is arguably more far-reaching than Mr Rogers himself
gestures at America if he’s been at it for 4 generations then what’s all this?
For four generations we’ve been associating tolerance, respect and community with childish cartoon characters; something to be outgrown.
He got 2 in 3 of us. The other 1/3rd I’d rather not talk about
Well that’s a fine example of your “tolerance, respect, and community”
Perfect is the enemy of good
something was, in fact, wrong with Arthur’s nose

Arthur’s first book was nothing but beta cope, but once he took looksmaxxing seriously he ascended to become a celebrity and cultural icon.

Take notes, children.

So I went and looked: aardvark means “earth pig” or “ground pig” in afrikaner

Also, this is Arthur’s reaction
