Holy crap, we do like to make life hard for ourselves, don’t we!
Congrats to Wolves on scoring 3 goals today. Sad that our second goal wasn’t credited to Gabi J.

Inside Eberechi Eze to Arsenal: Last-minute phone call with Arteta, Tim Lewis’ role, Josh Kroenke’s sign-off
* Eze had a deal with the spuds basically sitting in front of him, but he always wanted to come home to the Arsenal., with his long-standing love for his boyhood club known to basically everyone. * He called Arteta personally before signing the spuds’ deal to see if there was a chance of us to come in at the 11th hour. * Arteta told him that after Havertz’s recent injury action to strengthen the squad further would be taken, that Ebs was a serious candidate, and to hang tight for that afternoon until the board had met. * An ecstatic Eze later received a call that not only had the board agreed action needed to be taken, but that they had got right on the phone with Palace, and deal had been finalized. * Palace were happier seeking Eze to us than to the spuds. Parish has a good relationship with us. And despite eventually agreeing completely to Palace’s demands, the negotiations between Parish and Levy over the Eze deal had left a bag taste in the Palace chairman’s mouth. * Concerns over financial repercussions of us spending to much we put to the side for Eze with the feeling being that now was not the time to be cautious. * Eze himself had spoken with England teammates who play for us s and had asked them to put in a good word for him. But in the end that was not needed. * Arteta has be the growing increasingly enamoured with the idea of bringing Eze in. He was very impressed with Ebs’ personality and passion, and felt that he could bring a whole new dimension to the squad.
Eberechi Eze: Arsenal's ruthless coup shows intent and leaves Spurs stunned
Really hope this works out as I’d love to see him playing for us (again). Sounds very likely now. But if we do pip the shit to him, they’ll need to issue a flood warning for the toilet bowl area. The white part of North London is about to be flooded with a deluge of salty, bitter tears!

1,500+ Minecraft Players Infected by Java Malware Masquerading as Game Mods on GitHub
A new multi-stage malware campaign is targeting Minecraft users with a Java-based malware that employs a distribution-as-service (DaaS) offering called Stargazers Ghost Network. “The malware was impersonating Oringo and Taunahi, which are ‘Scripts and macros tools’ (aka cheats). Both the first and second stages are developed in Java and can only be executed if the Minecraft runtime is installed on the host machine.”
Signal offline functionality
I keep reading on articles, even those from this year, that Signal has an offline communications ability. The articles talk about “Signal Offline” as an app. But that seems the same as the main Signal app? Additionally, is there some functionality in Signal that allows you to connect with nearby users in the event when WiFi and cellular networks are down (like via some sort of a mesh network approach or Bluetooth)?
Can we resurrect this community?
The instance this community moved to is shutting down, and for some reason the voting options didn’t include moving the community to lemmy.world. So now it’s moving yet again to some other instance. Given this turn off events, why not just resurrect it here?
