I thought that "wash your hands" meant screen your user input. I don't see what that has to do with using spyware. The purpose of the spyware is to spy.

@mhoye it's not just an aircraft carrier, it's an entire carrier group, passing through busy shipping lanes, and its route was announced _by Macron_ 2 weeks ago. Their position is available on marine traffic maps. The strava thing is funny but it's not like the position was hidden.
