There's an indicator species for evaluating the safety of your urban infrastructure, and it's not middle-aged men on bikes. It's women, seniors, and kids feeling safe enough to ride in their everyday clothes.

When something is not available in the EU you probably don't want it anyway. Like chlorinated chicken, hormone-treated beef, large pickup trucks, and easily available firearms.
