#HolosDiscover just hit 3 million indexed posts.
What matters more than the number: 145k deletions processed, 83k edits tracked, and over 1k opt-outs respected, all in real time.
Respecting people is the priority and the only way to do it right is to be a full #ActivityPub participant, receiving deletions, edits, and opt-outs as they happen. Before indexing anyone, Holos Discover follows their account, so they know they are being indexed and can opt out.

What is the “indexable” option? Which of the three possible settings that could refer to, do you have in mind?

• Feature profile and posts in discovery algorithms
• Include public posts in search results
• Include profile page in search engines

Second, blocking the account. …So, where is it?

@CoolerPseudonym @apps https://discover.holos.social/how-it-works says it all

so basically if you have any of these things set, then you're opted out.
So if EITHER
- you have 'indexable' turned off
- have follow approval required on
- have #nobot or #noindex in your bio
then you're opted out from holos
