The deployments ​of the USS Boxer, along with ⁠its Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) & accompanying #warship, ​comes as Reuters reported that the ​#Trump admin was considering deploying thousands of US #troops to reinforce its #war in the #MiddleEast.

@Nonilex How many dead or disabled troops are the USA families prepared to accept in this illegal war that’s destroying much more than The USA? Does Netenyahu act as POTUS? Is Trump and are his advisors that stupid they don’t remember the mess of Afghanistan or Iraq? None of the intended goals were met. Just more death, destruction and hate was created.

Pure speculation on my part, but reading about the amount of self sabotage and military personnel reluctance to follow presidential orders, I wonder how far away US might be from a military coup.
