At this point, #NATO is unlikely to last out the year, let alone a complete #Trump term. Whether or not he walks away from the alliance or invades the territory of one of his notional allies, it is hard to see how Europe can plan strategically with the #US as, at best, a dead weight and, at worst, acting directly against it.

Clearly, his only marginal interest is in selling us weapons, which now seems a massive vulnerability.

The #UK needs to pick a side, and it needs to be #Europe.,
