This Is My Glasgow

The ongoing demolition of the remaining facade of the 175 year old Union Corner Building following the fire which destroyed it. Soon, all that will be left is its outline on the neighbouring Central Hotel building, and it will have become another of Glasgow's ghost buildings.

@thisismyglasgow considering the site will lie vacant probably for many years there’s no hurry to knock it down.
Isn’t it a pity they couldn’t take down that stonework with more care and recycle those beautiful stone arches
