Ordered an all-terrain electric skateboard (EDIT: the Veymax Nymph; it is: SO PINK) on Tuesday morning and have been checking my email compulsively: has it shipped yet? How about now? How about now?

Finally saw an email, got super excited, opened it up to see "some items in your order are on the way", clicked through... and it's just the spare parts I wanted to make sure I had on hand: tire, inner tubes, drive belts, bearings.

@Schneems @paulyd the Veymax Nymph. Plenty of tempting boards out there, but as a starter, this one seems more than adequate. And very very pink.

@geeksam @paulyd that's cool. I had an Altered brand electric skateboard in college and loved it (minus some scars). I've always thought about one with air tires as asphalt is pretty bumpy around here. Have fun, wear protection, don't ride wearing sandals 🙈

@Schneems @paulyd oh, I am Team Gear! And yeah, Portland streets are usually pretty chewed up and often wet, so big wheels are a requirement. I'm considering airless, but we'll see how many flats I actually get first.
