The boxes are then transported to a processing facility. The fish are removed, to be processed and re-packaged, and the boxes

Also for some extra context. I’m on vacation with my family in Taiwan right now and it is both very late and this is absolutely not the thing I wished I was doing on vacation.

I think it is important though. I think it is worth doing.

Goodnight

- This won’t be “resolved”, it won’t be “clean”...if we all try hard, maybe there will be understanding, hopefully closure.
- I want to be “called in” instead of “called out” if possible.

For that I can say I’m sorry about what I said to @joeldrapper. For calling him out on reporting. I would like to believe he is genuinely in it for the truth of the matter, all the truths. I think he can be even if we don’t agree on where those truths lead.

- I will give space for your opinions and disagreement, if you give me space mine. I.e. I don’t demand you “see it my way” I expect you don’t do that to me.
- Remember there are MANY of you (generally, people reading this) and one of me. We are all humans.
- I can say “I’m sorry to you” and will when I mess up. I expect the same in return.
- That doesn’t mean I just sit around and act like a punching bag. If you take a cheap shot, expect to be treated in kind.

Here’s how I want to be held accountable and what I want to do with Ruby Central reporting.

- I want to tell the truth. If I state something as a fact and it is disproven I want to know and I will fix it.
- I don’t claim to be unbiased, I do not want to be misleading. If i am misrepresenting a fact, that’s as bad as saying something false.
- I want to state my opinions on what I think those facts mean. If it’s unclear that I’m stating an opinion please let me know.

@joeldrapper “this is justification” no. This is a fact you’ve not reported.

Either you knew and withheld it, or you didn’t bother to check your source’s claims and you were sloppy. Want to put your guns down and care about the REST of the story or are you just in it to harass volunteers?
