Tonight on the #nixbook workbench.. a 2015 Era #macbookPro that had a bad SSD (which I had a spare and replaced then installed Nixbook)

And then an older Lenovo Yoga that had a cracked screen registering a constant phantom touch, making the computer unusable.

I simply disconnected the "touch" data lines to the motherboard and now it functions as a non touch laptop.

These will both go to people in need for free.

@codemonkeymike my friend had Yoga with same symptoms, upon login in X11 I set up a shell script with "xinput --disable id" and the id was from "xinput --list". This touch screen registers as an input device. Though, disconnecting it in hardware is more solid solution, of course. Nice job!
@hjakovel yup! I was thinking about a software solution too, but I couldn't even get into a terminal becsuse of this and decided ehh let's just cut
