@zetabeta Not only that. The US will also attack you during negotiations, by the same person that tore up a previously negotiated agreement no less, so why negotiate at all. If you're going to be attack either way, you may as well refuse to negotiate and develop nukes.

@QasimRashid Pro tip: Don't get rid of your nuclear weapons as it leaves you open to "good" countries with nuclear weapons attacking you. Good luck getting other countries to get rid of their weapons in future.

@QasimRashid Some years ago, I got some local Netanyahu supporters really, really mad at me for disagreeing with them about a treaty/agreement with Iran. I dismissed Netanyahu's opinion and went with Sidney Drell 's deputy director of SLAC and involved with the SALT treaty) and Siegfried Hecker's (former director of Los Alamos National Laboratory) opinion instead - that we could monitor everything we needed to detect any attempt at developing nuclear weapons..
