We finally can have KiCad10. Its long overdue, but there were so many annoying issues that have been fixed in the last weeks, it was just not ready[1].

The tags for the release of 10.0.0 have been set on the #kicad repository.

Now we just need for the builds to complete. The release blogpost will soon be available as well.

[1] I am sure there are plenty of issues/bugs left, but that's what the 10.0.1 release is for.

Cool, I'll give it a try sometime. So far, I've only used Target 3001. Target 3001 only runs on Windows and Mac. Same problem with LTspice. Stay away from Google, Windows, Facebook, and the tech companies.

@cccpresser of course. it was claimed to be fixed on 9.0.7, but still broken. it potentially affects other cli tools too. basically the cli options that default to true can't be set to false 🤡

@cccpresser I'll test in 10 anyway, maybe it was fixed as side effect of other work, since it is so obvious error...
