@sarah @TheBreadmonkey Actually some Panasonic and Sharp domestic market fridges let you set and re-set which direction you want to open the fridge from, because in tiny kitchens it matters!

Jesus Michał "Le Sigh" 🏔 (he)@TheBreadmonkey, I wanted to joke "wait, they sell fridges where you don't need to install the handles yourself", then I realized that while my last fridge indeed let me mount the handles on either side, making it open to the right would require a lot of effort to move the hinge thing to the other side.
That said, I'm right handed and my fridge opens to the left. 🤷

@mgorny @TheBreadmonkey Meanwhile my fridge doesn't makes it obvious which sides it hinges on, so sometimes guests gets confused, even though it would be horribly impractical for it to be hinged the other way as otherwise you'd be between the door and part of a wall.

I have been changing this few times because of apartment layout. PS: I was most likely forced as left handed person to write with right hand, given the fact I am right hand writing person, but intuitively using knife with left hand. Except writing my hands are interchangeable. In fact on whiteboard I can write left handed in almost the same quality.

ResunaI don't get the meme, those fridge doors can open either side and generally want to be set to open so they're facing whatever adjacent counter it's convenient to put the groceries on. I have literally swapped them from that orientation to the opposite one, and mine would theoretically do that to a right handed person right now.
