At this point we need something like a fork of Firefox called Kitfox or something. Small, lightweight, no integrated AI, no integrated VPN, just a web browser please.
Zen (@[email protected])

We noticed a rising interest regarding the use of AI in browsers. To be clear about our position on this: Zen currently is disabling all AI features included in Firefox and will continue to do so.

@xorhex

I guess I could spend a while figuring out how to use it but I basically just want "Firefox but without the bloat". And this feels nothing like any of the web browsers I'm used to...

@reverseics I get it 😀 - it took me a bit to get acclimated.

LibreWolf is also a viable option. The default config is a bit strict and I found I had to exempt quite a few sites from its cookie flushing, but otherwise it works well for Firefox users.

I also use Ungoogled-Chromium, and sometimes bounce back and forth between it and LibreWolf depending on my mood.

I've also heard wonderful things about Vivaldi but I'm reluctant to pay for a closed source browser.

@DaveMWilburn @xorhex yeah I've been tinkering with it per @kajer's recommendation.

My comment over there was, "Huh, I thought librewolf was some kind of libressl/wolfssl project."
