@ai6yr I've seen a few professionals still use Windows XP/7 although not connected to the web, just to do their job. They know keyboard shortcuts of the programs they use, they work real damn fast with it, and most importantly it's what works for them.

Preferably I wish they'd try out a Linux distro and see if they can replicate their workflow there but yeah. I follow the rule of "don't fix what ain't broke."

@reallylazybear This is not so much "it works for them" as "the software won't run on anything else" -- even Windows 10 or 11, or Linux.

@ai6yr Right, I forgot there are software that do only work on a certain operating system, or specific versions of an operating system. I just don't encounter them very much.

Probably the closest one is Fallout 3 because it relied on Games for Windows Live before it was suddenly updated after probably 13 years. Oh and also Max Payne 1.
