@Bastianoso Ich habe auch meine Sammlung so aufgebaut, das nahezu alle Windows Versionen in Betrieb sind: #NECV20 - #windows30, #386 - #windows31 #Pentium1 - #Windows95 Pentium MMX - #Windows98, #TransmetaCrusoe - #Windows2000, #PentiumM (Centrino) - #WindowsXP. Dazu noch verschiedene #DOS Versionen, #OS/2, Alte #Linux Versionen und exotische Betriebsysteme.

Genuine question I keep coming back to: if your favourite old OS had never been discontinued and just kept getting developed normally by their OG devs with proper modern hardware support, security patches and so on, which one would you actually want to daily drive today?

For me it's a tossup between Windows XP and Windows 7. I used both of them a lot when I was younger and honestly they felt basically the same to me at the time, but Windows 7 always seemed a bit easier to navigate.

Yes! Ich konnte mir für meine Retro-Sammlung jetzt auch eine eigene Bonus-CD der GameStar 03/05 sichern. Bisschen zerkratzt, aber 2026 nimmt man ja, was man bekommen kann. Soweit ich weiß, war das hier der letzte physische Release des "Dirty Little Helper '98", bevor das Programm im Jahr danach endgültig eingestellt wurde.
