@FreakyFwoof I want that piano yesterday. I’ve played a couple kawais before and they’re amazing, even better than steinway in some ways.
@jdking92 I want to eat it. And then play it and eat it and play it again in equal measure. The action was just amazing!
@FreakyFwoof I’m really, really picky about my piano actions. If it’s smooth and buttery, and if it allows me to do trills like there’s no tomorrow, I love it. If it’s too stiff and sluggish I’m not here for it.
@jdking92 Well then you'd love this one. one of the nicest things I've played, and not just because it cost as much as it did...
@FreakyFwoof Oh hell yeah. I love pianos with actions like that. So, so good!
@jdking92 I'm going back next week to play more of their pianos. We shall see what else we find.
@FreakyFwoof I’d love to check that place out if I was in the area. Need to find a piano shop here in Louisville.
@jdking92 If you ever come to the UK I know where I'm taking you.
@FreakyFwoof Absolutely! I’d also love to play a fazzioli f308 at some point. Such a gorgeous sounding piano it’s not even funny.
@jdking92 I played a Yamaha C3 once, friggin hell what an amazing action. Beautiful! Same with a Yamaha U3 Upright which had no damn right to be as nice as it was.
@FreakyFwoof I’ve played a few Yamahas before and liked them, particularly the c7 semi concert grand and cox concert grand. Amazing tone and action on both those instruments. Would love to own one.
@jdking92 When I studied at college they had what I think was a C5. Man, I tried to play that at least once a day. So, so good. Forgot about that.
@FreakyFwoof I can’t say I’ve ever played the c5 before.
@jdking92 @FreakyFwoof I've played a CFX. I'm not much of a pianist but even I could tell it was something special.
@jdking92 @FreakyFwoof For me, the lighter the better, as long as the key action is still smooth. I love the action of piano fortes.
@kevinrj @FreakyFwoof Right, but the fortepiano is a different instrument to the modern piano. Also, if the action is *too* light, it can no doubt cause it’s own issues.
@jdking92 @FreakyFwoof All true. Though I haven’t yet played a piano where the action is too light. There aren’t any pianoforte knock-offs around though. :)
@kevinrj @FreakyFwoof I’ve played a few uprights with actions that were incredibly light, though that was mainly because they hadn’t been properly regulated in a good while. I’ve also played instruments with very, very sluggish or unresponsive actions. Not recommended for an enjoyable experience.
@FreakyFwoof Wonderful sound! And your excitement is just fun to hear too. I’ve been like that myself when getting to try out some amazing instruments, but I don’t think any were near what that piano costs.
@cassana It's so cheap I bought 12 of them. I'll give you one. I'm obviously just soooo rich and made of the moneys so y'know, might as well.
@cassana Only three made per-year, so I bought up the stock for the next few years.
@FreakyFwoof Hahaha. Let’s see… That’s a measly 36,256.17 EUR at 21% VAT. I’m sure I could swing that…
In my dreams…
@cassana If you come to London sometime we should go there though. Wonderful place.
@FreakyFwoof Sounds good. By the time that happens we might have a whole itinerary sorted out. That piano shop and your favourite Indian place are on the list so far.
@FreakyFwoof Damn, that thing is gorgeous and I want one. I, however, as a synth player/mess around with more than anything, not a pianist, am not worthy of such things.
@BorrisInABox You think I am? I wasn't even worthy to play the damn thing but hot damn I want it anyway. Badly.
@FreakyFwoof More than me, anyway.
@BorrisInABox They apparently only produce three of these a year, and I want one of them to be mine.
@FreakyFwoof If I sold everything I ever owned in my life, including all the stuff I can't get to and don't have anymore, I might be able to make a small down payment on one, on top of emptying my savings and blowing my credit. LOL!
@BorrisInABox I played an £88,000 piano in 2013 in a different shop, wasn't a patch on this beauty.
@FreakyFwoof @BorrisInABox 1000 pounds a key. Impressive.
@SirMars @BorrisInABox Yeah, but the more expensive one is way more than that per-key.

@FreakyFwoof That was a lovely change of pace after a series of frustrating phone calls.

Thank you!

@FloatingOnion That doesn't sound like fun, so I'm glad that could cheer you up a little.
@FreakyFwoof Sooooo coooool! I somehow didn't know you like flats and sharps so much. I like them much but only on the guitar! heheheh!
@vick21 I play in every key. If you listen to some of the files I put out when I'm just doodling or playing live, you'll hear a lot of that. Every key has it's joys.
