The Palestinian Genocide IS NOT US Politics OK!!!
The Palestinian Genocide IS NOT US Politics OK!!!
Insanity of saying the US fueled, funded, and permitted (with the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA even going so far as to say he will help Israel “do what they need to do”) genocide in Gaza isn’t US politics aside, why the fuck would you name your com “politics” and not allow politics from the hundreds of other countries?
Name your damn com US politics then, and maybe learn about the impacts of US foreign policy and recognize that the imperial hegemonic effects of the USs actions actually are US politics.
JFC that’s a stupid com.

I temp banned you for three days after you repeatedly failed to follow the clear guidelines I gave you.
When the ban expires, you’re welcome to post US Politics articles back in Politics as you did here (excellent post BTW):
If you insist on posting “Israel bad!” to a community specifically for US Politics, you will get banned again.
Israel / Gaza = Goes in [email protected]
Things actually involving US Politics goes in Politics.
This is why separate communities exist.

Not as many as usual, but Iran is pulling focus right now so that’s not unusual.

Current anti-Israel posts that are up right now:
I’m sorry you aren’t clever enough to think of excuses for all of them.
I only remove things that break the rules and explicitly state why.
My favorite one recently was in Politics about how China was going to the moon. LOL.
Not US and not Politics. Removed.
I only remove things that break the rules
You remove things you disagree with and torture logic to make an excuse.
Winning any argument with you is “sealioning,” as an example.
You keep talking out of your ass because you got banned. Welcome to PTB!
Biden knew the weapons were being used for genocide, because everyone knew. He sold them anyway. He broke US law to do so.
And you cannot admit that.
Biden can’t be both mentally infirm and an evil genius. LOL.
Biden repeatedly described himself as a Zionist, but meant it in the old use of the term… Supporting a Jewish state in the wake of the Holocaust. Remember, Biden is SUPER old.
LOL. You spout words with zero comprehension.
Let me break it down one last time:
There is a specific definition for genocide, any single one of these is enough to justify a call of genocide:
ihl-databases.icrc.org/en/…/article-2?activeTab
In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:
(a) Killing members of the group;
Israel in Gaza? ✅
Israel in Lebanon? ✅
The US in Gaza? ❌
The US in Iran? ✅
(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
Israel in Gaza? ✅
Israel in Lebanon? ✅
The US in Gaza? ❌
The US in Iran? ✅
© Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
Israel in Gaza? ✅
Israel in Lebanon? ✅
The US in Gaza? ❌
The US in Iran? ✅
(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
Israel in Gaza? ✅
Israel in Lebanon? Not yet, give it a minute.
The US in Gaza? ❌
The US in Iran? ❌
(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.
Israel in Gaza? ✅
Israel in Lebanon? Not quite yet, ETA in 3-2-1…
The US in Gaza? ❌
The US in Iran? ❌
The most you could say is that by NOT acting, the US is guilty of C, but failing to take action is not the same thing as “deliberately inflicting.”
Prove he knew and did it anyway. Find any public statement allowing Israel to do this. You can’t because he didn’t.
Israel is guilty of genocide, you’re welcome to blame the killers. Don’t blame Biden because you have a hard on to hate America.
There is your proof fool, Biden’s staff began resigning to try to desperately get the message through.

Genuinely asking. The articles you posted were GOOD articles, just not appropriate for [email protected]

“What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.”
What can be proven is Biden had power over Netanyahu, Biden knew the reality of the Genocide and had the easy capability to learn all he wanted, and he chose to do nothing but attack leftists for bringing it up.
That is enough to damn someone to going to hell, so I am fine with just evidence of that.
Biden had NO power over Netanyahu.
foxnews.com/…/israel-netanyahu-biden-war-counsel

Netanyahu made no secret of his feelings toward Joe Biden after Donald Trump was elected this month, publicly revealing he'd ignored the current U.S. president's counsel and threats to withhold aid.
The first article you link me is from Fox News?
The second is from 2010.
The third is paywalled and from the NYT which has a well established history of not only failing to cover the Palestinian Genocide with journalistic integrity but also in not questioning the US government’s narratives about war in general even when they are egregiously wrong as in the case with the Iraq War and Weapons Of Mass Destruction.
Also why are you still talking with me? Why don’t you unlock the thread where this discussion is more topical on Lemmy.World support so we can talk there?
How does it make sense to lock that one and continue to engage in this one?
Defend your behavior as it appears extemely immature and also… come up with better sources.
euronews.com/…/biden-called-netanyahu-a-liar-and-…
“Biden unleased a profanity-laden tirade over Netanyahu after the Israeli military entered Rafah calling him a “liar”, and a “bad guy”, saying that the Israeli leader had “no strategy.””
You wanted proof, I bring the receipts. 😉

“Biden has said he is trying to get Israel to agree to a cease-fire, but Netanyahu is “giving him hell” and is impossible to deal with”
www.cnn.com/2024/…/biden-netanyahu-israel-gaza
“In private, Biden has been more willing to offer unvarnished thoughts on Netanyahu, including his deep irritation that the Israeli prime minister has not followed through on American recommendations to de-escalate military tactics in Gaza.”
apnews.com/…/biden-netanyahu-hot-mic-gaza-885b97a…
“Biden then responds using Netanyahu’s nickname, saying, “I told him, Bibi, and don’t repeat this, but you and I are going to have a ‘come to Jesus’ meeting.””
And my personal favorite:
huffpost.com/…/biden-sparred-netanyahu-gaza-israe…
“Bibi, what the fuck?” Biden yelled after the attack, according to Woodward. “You know the perception of Israel around the world increasingly is that you’re a rogue state, a rogue actor.”
Again, Biden comes from the sphere where Israel are the down-trodden good guys. That perspective is decades out of date, but Biden is just that old.
I’d argue it hasn’t been remotely true since the '67 war? Maybe the '72 Olympics Hostage Crisis?
Again, Biden comes from the sphere where Israel are the down-trodden good guys.
The same sphere you live in.
“I’d argue it hasn’t been remotely true since the '67 war? Maybe the '72 Olympics Hostage Crisis?”
Reading comprehension FTW!
Failing to take action does not equal Biden endorsing the actions.
It’s absolutely clear Biden endorsed NONE of this and at the same time it’s equally clear that Netanyahu does not give a single solitary fuck what the US says and is going to keep on killing people.
Then why did all these Biden officials feel the need to drive their career into a ditch by resigning because of how they felt about Biden’s response to the Palestinian Genocide?
Because while Biden expressed his views privately, he refused a public break with Israel, something that would have doomed his campaign as well as Harris’s campaign had she run with it.
Trump would have rolled his frequent line of “I’m the best thing that ever happened to Israel” and nothing Biden or Harris could say would counter that.
If you want to see what happens when US Politicians oppose Israel, you don’t have to look any further than the Illinois primaries last Tuesday:
What happened when the mayor at the center of the second largest concentration of Jews on earth ran without AIPAC money.
jewishtimes.com/what-zohran-mamdani-has-actually-…
“During the long mayoral primary campaign, Mamdani repeatedly said that Israel has a right to exist. But he usually qualifies that statement by adding that Israel is flouting its responsibilities under international law, based on its treatment of Palestinians.
He has also been asked if Israel has a right to exist as a Jewish state. As he stated at a town hall in May with the UJA-Federation of New York, co-moderated by the New York Jewish Week’s Lisa Keys: It should exist “with equal rights for all.””
Biden -
wilsoncenter.org/…/bidens-stance-palestinian-isra…
“President Biden’s reiteration that the only way forward to maintain Israel’s security is through the two-state solution is consistent with the administration’s approach from day one.”
I don’t understand the point you are making at all here, but I will point out that Zohran specifically didn’t state that the solution needed to be a two state solution, something Biden could never let go of as a concept even after it had outlived its reality or possibility. There needs to be one state with rights for all, this Genocide has gone far too far to have some kind of state within a state situation that encodifies the conditions of inequality into international politics. It is one damn country, work it out without doing a Genocide on Palestinians.
In the damn quote you provided from Biden he can’t even bring himself to say the name “Palestinian”, they are just blankly implied as a “well yeah them too I guess”.
Do you honestly believe you just “gotcha’d” me?
This is pathetic.
What thread? I’m not restoring and unlocking your off-topic posts.
