Scilla, 19 mar. - (Adnkronos) - “Siamo qui come fondazione che opera da 40 anni e oggi, dopo 3 anni, chiudiamo un ciclo. Scilla era un'idea, un'intenzione e si è tradotta in realtà”. Nino Foti, presidente della Fondazione Magna Grecia e padrone di casa della due giorni 'Oltre il mare. I patrimoni per la continuità dell'offerta turistica', tira le somme dopo tre anni di analisi e focus su un territorio come quello di Scilla dal grandissimo potenziale.
“È chiaro che per uno sviluppo adeguato non solo di quest'area - continua Foti - ma dell'intera Calabria sono necessari competenze, conoscenze e capitale umano, ma tutto questo avviene quando la classe politica e quella datoriale si mettono insieme per fare sistema su grande scala”.
Nota dolente il sistema dei trasporti, notevolmente penalizzante “l'Alta Velocità non dipende certo dalla Regione Calabria, - prosegue Foti - ma si deve andare a Bruxelles e a Roma, si deve approfondire e capire. La Salerno-Reggio Calabria non è stata terminata e Renzi ha lasciato a Gentiloni un'autostrada da inaugurare alla quale mancano 58 chilometri. Abbiamo tante compagnie aeree che portano turismo, anche se low coast, ma chi vuole venire in questi posti prima deve atterrare a Roma e poi venire qui, oltre a dover fare i conti con orari assurdi. Una situazione che dipende dalla una volontà politica, soprattutto di chi non ha fatto sistema. Qui ognuno pensa al proprio condominio, ma non è rassegnazione: è strafottenza, perché qui manca la cultura dell'associazionismo”.
