when i click on someone's profile and there's "posts" and "posts and replies" i want a tab that's just their own posts, not boosts
@matildalove this, so much. Boost are nice but when i want to decide if i follow someone i need to see what they wrote themselves
@matildalove This is something that even applies to my own profile, when I try to find a post of myself. The lack of this is so annoying.

@fogti @matildalove truly.

Even more so since I could totally implement it but then each other instance doesn't, and neither does any client.

@fogti @matildalove Agreed, nearly every time I've tried to look for something, I've just given up after the first few minutes.
@amenonsen @fogti @matildalove looking for a post by yourself is quite simple in the search bar, by typing "from:me". Not ideal, but it works.
“Posts with no boobs” new wafrn feature leaked
@gabboman transmasc representation hell yeah
Interesting idea, I wonder how you'd make that work
@matildalove the ivory client does do this, but it only shows something like the most recent 20 posts. Then you have to click a “view all posts” button, which also includes boosts. They were so close…
@matildalove if you're open to using a different client, phanpy.social supports this

@thzinc @matildalove

Also implemented in IceCubes.

Controls from left to right:

1. Posts with pinned posts first
2. Posts and replies without boosts
3. Boosted posts
4. Posts with images

@matildalove

I'm using Ice Cubes on iOS which has exactly this. Only your posts, only your replies, only your boosts. Three different tabs. Not sure if it's available on other platforms, though.

The UI is also pretty configurable which is nice. Switched there from Ivory as they didn't seem to care about a severe accessibility issue I reported. Haven't looked back once.

@matildalove I use ivory on iOS and they have filters you can build yourself so, this is what I see if I open your posts without boosts
@matildalove I agree that it would be great to have this in the standard web interface. I think the user's RSS feed URL might contain exactly the posts we want; it just needs to be presented nicely in the UI like the two existing options.

@matildalove

"Posts and replies" omits their boosts. It's basically what you're asking for, unless you don't want to see posts of theirs that were in response to a different post.

I complained about this obviously-misleading UI more than a year ago, and here we are... 😄

@cazabon i mean non-reply non-boost posts, yeah
