If the objective was to kill the Ayatollah, the Iran war would be over. But just like in Gaza, Netanyahu's goal is total mayhem.

Amidst a vulnerable world economy, Israel has now attacked the world's largest gas field South Pars in Iran. Iran has responded by attacking the world's largest LNG plant Ras Laffan in Qatar.

Meanwhile EU is still under Israel's spell, saying nothing, doing nothing, while Bibi and Donny creates the next financial crisis.

The bed is burning — wake up Europe!

@randahl that would require @EUCommission and #EU members like @Bundesregierung to habe an actual spine and do actual #consequences:

@randahl

The big problem in the EU is the Merz-Meloni-Von der Leyen axis. Together they quash every opposition to Israël, no matter how low the Netanyahu accelerationists bring their country and the world.

It is kind of funny that it is always the same rule: The previous World War lays the foundations of the next. The Holocaust of the WWII has birthed a renewed world burning in our time.

The UN is also completely dead. Noone is even bothering with it anymore.

@randahl btw, how much gas can provide Norway, can it increase output?
@janantos they already did because of the loss of Russian gas, so I would be surprised, if Norway could. But I do not yet know Norway's options.
@randahl OTOH this is an excellent learning opportunity why relying on fossil fuels is a very bad idea.
@randahl we didn't learn the lesson when russia was using energy as a weapon, we'll pay more this time.
@randahl It has been war for quite a while now, hasn't it?
@randahl A war to overthrow a single head of state can theoretically be fought with a single rifle bullet given the kind of capability the Mossad claims to have. Thus we see this was never the objective.

@randahl Given the circumstances it is hard to take posture, I think.

If it turns out that nothing has been learned of this evolving episode of chaos and destruction, that would be highly disappointing.

Spain has taken the lead.

The #EU would do well to better communicate not only its opinion, but also communicating consequences.

And given that admit that mitigating actions are going to be hard.

The #EU's lack of transparency is aggravating the situation, now the sun is no longer shining.

@randahl Yes, and then everyone wonders what causes anti-Semitism.

@randahl

Stunning, a new kind of warfare. Total annihilation. A war crime in progress basically and fully unacceptable.

Wrt energy dependency, we cannot have a better argument for renewables than this...

Exactly. Let them burn all these oil and gas fields to the ground. That stuff is going to be burned either way, in our cars or still on the field. Once it is gone and prices for what is left are through the roofs, even the most stubborn right winger has to admit that it is cheaper to use solar, wind, hydro, geothermic energy, and that it maybe is a smart idea to start subsidizing that instead of a dead horse.
@FransVeldman @randahl @xs4me2 Have you seen this video, including the last half hour? 🔥 https://youtu.be/KtQ9nt2ZeGM
You are being misled about renewable energy technology.

@sandorspruit @FransVeldman @randahl

Yes, I shared it some time ago… just like the evolution from horsepower, to steam, electricity and fossil fuels, progress will not stop. Renewable energy is a logical and unstoppable consequence of previous technological developments and it solves real problems.

There will always be luddites…

Caveat: We could also bomb ourselves into a new stone age, is what I sometimes currently think.

The half hour was the best! Great video! Thanks for sharing!
@FransVeldman @randahl @xs4me2 Call him snarky, but he does not take any prisoners there - and he is not wrong.

@sandorspruit @FransVeldman @randahl @xs4me2

Seen it three times, believe it or not! 👍
