By the way I’m now using Dee-Emm-Zed religiously and none of you can stop me. Blame David Hewlett. 🤷🏻‍♀️🙃
@hacks4pancakes I’m Canadian and am 100% with you. “Zee” is not a letter of the alphabet.
@ghostinthenet @hacks4pancakes I'm French, and I agree with our over the sea cousin.

@ghostinthenet @hacks4pancakes

As a child, the only time I ever heard someone say Zee when they meant Zed was Sesame Street. This built a strong subconscious bias that anyone who said Zee was probably a muppet.

@ghostinthenet @hacks4pancakes had a way too long conversation with someone from Boston about a drive I'd mapped. Couldn't understand her confusion until I realized that she hadn't understood that the word I was saying to describe the drive, was simply the last letter of the alphabet. I swear the American's changed it just to make the song rhyme.

@ghostinthenet @hacks4pancakes I just found out I’m (probably) Canadian, so in solidarity I’m gonna pronounce all ‘ee’ letters as ‘ed’ to make up for lost time.
