Suunto released a new watch face this morning for their current lineup that replicates the old school ABC (altimeter, barometer, compass) watches. Models include the Core (still made), Vector (the OG), Observer (shown on left), and others.

Suunto invented the ABC watch (with thermometer also), although it was later popularized by Casio with their PathFinder and TripleSensor watches.

I purchased the Observer in 2001. Unified displays, 25 years apart.

I had a #Suunto similar to the one on the left during the 2007-08 Iraq surge. Although it did not have the ability to invert the display. Solid performer.

For the 2003 invasion, my watch was a PathFinder. The thermometer was never accurate. #Watch put up with quite a bit, then decided to fail me at the very beginning of February 2004 when we were to start our vehicle movement back south from Baghdad to Kuwait for redeployment. Seconds away from starting... the watch just froze.
