i need to brush up on my star trek lore
all i was thinking was "why is tasha yar a romulan?"
(edit: it was a later episode after the actress left and came back in a one off episode where she plays tasha yar's half romulan daughter, from another time line)
She didn't like the role. She left TNG because of it. I don't blame her, it was just a badly written character
@benroyce @farah TBH, her best episode was like the worst episode of the whole series. I freaking loved her when she actually got some action scenes, actually got to be taken seriously, but I feel like they had zero idea how to make her work.
I guess they actually switched Crosby and Sirtis at the eleventh hour and it's clear knowing what role they actually auditioned for. Crosby could bring such warmth. I can only imagine how different it would have been if they'd left everything alone.

Considering the earth nations resembled by vulcans and romulans this is both funny and terrifyingly prophetic.
@[email protected] thus the only valid reaction is to *proactively refuse to comply* and *actively sabotage such cyberfascidt efforts! - I mean, what's next? - #Russia's #Roskomnadnozr demanding *"#KYC"* of #Users for using #WiFi? - *"P.R."* #China's *"Cybersecurity Administration"* demanding system-wide blocking of #VPN & @[email protected] / #Tor? Just like noone should comply with that #cyberfascism, so should noone comply with #US-based cyberfascism either! - Use #Monero and give #ITAR the finger… - Refuse to finance #terrorism by refusing to create taxable revenue for U.S. corporations! I certainly won't comply with cyberfascism in @OS1337 and any *"#AgeVerification"* is #fascist bullshit under false pretense that needs to be outlawed!
