I Write LikeMy name is Alexandra. I help build I Write Like, a text editor. Unless one is a tech giant, the chances of people discovering their creation are slim, regardless of how wonderful the creation is. I wanted to change that, so I came to Mastodon.

My initial questions:
- What about privacy?
- Why this app? How did out come about?
- What does it offer that others do not?
- Can it edit locally stored files?
- Can it save .md as well as .txt?
I like that premium is a one-time payment. The serif, sans, and Mono previews are nice, too. FYI I was unable to save to Dropbox because of an API issue on your end.

About privacy:
It's a web app that works completely client-side in the browser and doesn't send anything to the server: your texts are stored in your browser, not on our servers.
